TAIWAN SELECT is Taiwan’s premier food brand initiative organized by Taiwan’s International Trade Administration and executed by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA). Taiwan Select aims to showcase the excellence of Taiwanese food products to the global market.
Award-Winning and Certified Products
TAIWAN SELECT will make its debut at SIAL Canada 2025 in Toronto, presenting a cohesive brand identity to the North American market. The TAIWAN SELECT Pavilion will feature 79 Taiwanese companies exhibiting over 179 award-winning processed food products. These offerings span six major categories: staple foods, sauces and seasonings, beverages (including bubble tea), herbal teas, snacks, and ready-to-eat meals.
Quality, Safety, Health, and Sustainability
TAIWAN SELECT embodies the values of quality, safety, health, and sustainability. By uniting Taiwan’s food industry under a cohesive brand, it serves as an integrated team representing Taiwanese culinary excellence. Event Highlights

(1) Opening Ceremony
Welcome to TAIWAN SELECT opening ceremony on 4/29 11:00 am marking the beginning of 3 exciting days of activities. Following the ceremony, a celebrity chef will host a live demonstration of a creative Taiwanese-style Popcorn Chicken Hand Roll, delivering a feast for the senses. Attendees will be invited to sample the dish. A guided booth tour will also highlight the distinctive features of TAIWAN SELECT products.
(2) Cooking Shows
On the first and second days of the exhibition, two Happy Hour sessions will be held daily. Each features a live Taiwanese cooking demonstration, with dishes such as Popcorn Chicken Hand Rolls, Stir-Fried Rice Vermicelli, Shrimp Patties, and the traditional Red Tortoise Cake. Cold brew Taiwanese tea will also be served. Each session is limited to 50 servings—first come, first served.

(3) Happy Hours
Following the cooking shows, guests can participate in a fun and engaging game session with a chance to win special food-themed prizes! It’s the perfect way to continue the Happy Hour atmosphere while exploring more of Taiwan’s culinary creativity. Happy Hour starts from 10:30a.m. daily and runs every other hour.
